Above is an example of machine base grouting.  Grout is pumped below grade and under high pressure allowing greater support.   This form of pressure grouting was used to give these parts manufacturing  machines a sturdy foundation to attach to.	This is an example of compaction grouting to fill voids created by an abndoned mine in southern West Virginia.  Holes are drilled to a specified depth, a tremie pipe is inserted, and grout injected, the tremie pipe is lifted in short increments as grout is injected. This process is repeated until voids are filled and proper compaction is achieved.
